TENANT FEES

Standard fees

  • Tenant fee

£250 (inc. VAT) per tenancy

This is fixed-cost fee that can cover a variety of works depending on the individual circumstances of each tenancy, including but not limited to conducting viewings, negotiating the tenancy, verifying references, undertaking Right to Rent checks and drawing up contracts. It is charged per tenancy. The charge will not exceed this sum unless you request or cause one of the specific additional services or fees set out elsewhere in this document.

  • Deposit for a long let tenancy

Equivalent to six weeks’ rent

  • Deposit for a long let tenancy with pets

Equivalent to six weeks’ rent. The landlord might require an extra payment equivalent of two weeks of rent to protect the property against damages that might occur. In case you are renting a property and you have a pet, you’ll be informed about it, prior to the payment of the holding deposit.

  • Holding Deposit

The landlord will require the payment of a holding deposit to secure the property and start the reference check. The amount is equivalent of one week rent. It’s will be deducted from the final payment and refunded in case the landlord decides to pull out form the offer. The holding deposit is not refundable, in case you fail the reference check or pull out.

Our vetted contractor may pay a referral fee to Marylebone Properties International. The fee paid will be included within the contractor’s invoice and could be up to 25% of the total invoice amount depending on the service provided, the details of which are available on request. This does not affect the final amount you pay.
